MISS ZOË

DANCE PRINCIPAL

Zoë began dancing at the age of 3 years and throughout her career she has always wanted to share her knowledge and passion for dance with younger dancers.

As a child Zoë danced competitively, both locally and nationally, and became an All England Champion at the age of 7 years.

Touring from the age of 14 years with the Black & White Minstrels, Zoë went on to perform and choreograph for both stage and screen.

After travelling abroad as Dance Captain, Zoë returned home and began to teach others, establishing Zoë Pennington Dance Studios in 2002 which now boasts over 200 pupils.

MISS GEMMA

DANCE PRINCIPAL

Gemma’s passion for dance began at the age of three and has driven her to a successful career in performing arts ever since. Her journey has taken her around the world, performing in casino shows pantomimes summertime variety shows and corporate events.

While her career has been varied and exciting, teaching at ZPDS has always been her true calling.

For over two decades she’s been a constant presence at the dance school, proud to see her pupils grow into strong professional dancers and equip them with the skills to pursue their own dance careers.

Watching her pupils including her daughters Darcie, Sydney and Betsy compete in dance competitions across the UK and the Dance World Cup fills Gemma with immense pride.
